The annual Indian Masters’ Retrospective exhibitions give today’s generation of artists a chance to view original works of Master’s under one roof. These works are collected from the Museums, Art Institutions, Art Collectors and descendants of the artist.
Till date we have regularly presented twenty one such exhibitions. Response to these shows has been phenomenal. Around fifty thousand people from all over Maharashtra visit and view these exhibtions during the span of three weeks. Perhaps this is the only Gallery which has been organising such a show continuously for the past twenty years showcasing the Master works of painters, sculptors, photographers and metal craftsman.
To document these exhibitions, we print a catalogue on the artist and include maximum images of his artworks. These catalogues are available in the Nehru Centre.
